The Lamborghini Murciélago was presented at the IAA 2001 in Frankfurt as the successor to the legendary Lamborghini Diablo. A total of 4099 units were produced between 2001 and 2010. As with the Diablo VT, the Murciélago is equipped with four-wheel drive. The first series (LP580) captivates with a 6.2 litre V12 engine with 580hp (426kW) and a 6-speed manual gearbox. The name Murciélago (German: Fledermaus) comes from the fighting bull of the same name bred by Joaquín del Val de Navarra. The Murciélago was designed by Belgian car designer Luc Donckerwolke and is Lamborghini's first vehicle to be developed under the aegis of its new parent company Audi. During the 9-year construction period, the Murciélago was constantly developed further and various special models were produced. Starting with the LP580 Coupe/ Roadster, 40 years anniversary model, LP640 Coupe/ Roadster, LP640 Versace, LP650-4 Roadster up to the Superveloce (SV).

The Lamborghini Murciélago with the chassis number ZA9BC1DE02LA12327 was delivered on 27.08.2002 by Auto-Kremer Lamborghini dealership from Bonn / Germany to the first owner from Luxembourg. The colour combination is grigio met. with black leather and grey contrast stitching. Since this is the first series of the Murciélago, the popular 6-speed manual gearbox is installed. In the production year 2002 only 424 units were built. This model is in excellent condition, the paint has only minor defects and the interior is original and in good condition. The vehicle comes the third owner and has a documented mileage of 91,000km. The service intervals were always carried out by Auto-Kremer Lamborghini and documented in the service book. At the beginning of 2019, extensive work was carried out on the vehicle: Engine removal, clutch including release bearing and pressure plate renewed, valve clearance adjusted, front brakes, tires renewed. The Lamborghini folder with owner´s manual and service book are of course preserved. In June of this year the car passed the main inspection without any defects. (TÜV until 06/2020)
